  • What areas do you provide transportation to?

    Fireman Transport proudly services the Kansas City Metro and surrounding areas.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

    Schedule your appoinment at least 24 hours before you need to be transported. 


    You can fill  out the "Schedule Wheelchair or Stretcher Transportation" form online, or call us at (913) 229-5060 between the hours of 9am to 5pm. 


    Please provide the following information:

    • Wheelchair or Stretcher if Needed
    • Bariatric Assistance  if Needed
    • Oxygen  if Needed
    • Pickup Location
    • Dropoff Location
    • Requested Date and Time of Transportation
    • Name and Contact Info

  • I don't have a wheelchair. Can you provide one?

    Yes, we carry a clean wheelchair in every transportation vehicle. We can also provide service when bariatric assistance is required.


    We strive to remove all transportation barriers due to our client's mobility and other challenges. 

  • What information do I need to provide before transportation?

    Information we will need to properly care for you includes your need for wheelchair transport, stretcher transport, bariatric transport, or oxygen requirements to get to into the van and the facilities safely. 


    Any additional health conditions that you would like to communicate will allow us to serve you safely and comfortably. 


    We will need to know whether you will have a family member or caregiver traveling with you as well. 

  • How do I cancel or re-schedule an appointment?

    If you have any questions about re-scheduling a ride, concerns regarding transportation specifications, or for information on how to cancel your appointment please call us (913) 229-5060.


    Please give us at least 24 hours notice before the original appointment time. We are more than happy to help. 

  • Can I request a quote?

    Absolutely! We understand that communication is key when it comes to a smooth, comfortable ride. 


    We want to take the questioning out of the financial cost of Medical Transport. Details on Non-Emergency Medical Transport costs are provided upon request.
